I"m not laughing at your rainfall. Three weeks ago today, we left Illinois for Colorado and went in the n/east corner on 76 to Estes park. That was just plain sad, did"nt look like it rained in a year. Somewhere around Greeley the thermometer in my truck read 97 when we were stopped for road construction. What"s the idea behind that huge cattle feed lot?, I did,t see enough feed around there to support a dozen cows.
We went through Rocky Mt. Nat.Pk , down to the Royal Gorge, up Pikes Pk. and then hung around Col. Springs for a couple days.
This was the fourth time I"ve been out there, the last time was exactly 20 yrs. ago, but man was it hot and dry. I hope you get all the rain you can handle. Jim
