I am going to get a second tractor for small stuff like pulling hay wagons, moving equipment or even mowing when the weather is right.Instead of getting one of the newer compact I think I might want to get an older tractor.I want a diesel and I like farmalls and the IH that allen is posting pictures of.What are some general tips to look for when getting an older tractor that I wont have to work on?Anything I should notice about gears, clutch, brakes? What to look for when it starts up,what leaks are terminal and which ones are not? What are some good models to look for?And what price range should a good older tractor be in?
