Any reasonable offer accepted?

$400 or any reasonable offer accepted. Ok what does this term mean to you? Does it mean if someone wants $400 for an item and I offer $300 he will sell it to me. Because 300 is reasonable. Or does it mean he will just accept the offer without feeling he is obligated to sell it to me for my offer. Its a term used in ads that I would never use because it is so open to trouble. Gary
