Well, that's a pretty common remark in my area. Don't know about yours. Some of us question why somebody would pop out 30 grand for a tractor, and then do nothing with it. So.... they might have more.... when they make investments like that. You've still got your tractor, and you're still using it, and presumably will for some time to come. I view that a little differently. Take it how you will. Far as I'm concerned, you run your Kubota how you like. However, the Case in question was likely never run in properly. It probably idled and did little or nothing for the hours it did accumulate. It should be worked hard for a few days so that it does break in. Call it flogging, or whatever else you want. Hard work. Time spent on a plow as opposed to time spent ideling. It's not uncommon to see a diesel engine like that slobbering at the exhaust from raw fuel going up the stack. I guess if yours had that problem, then you might want to give it a good workout. That's how those problems tend to be cured. Rod
