God, I hate myself when I'm like this; it's a textbook case of too much time on my hands. Everything said is perfectly true, unless you have a lot of gurgling. A few floop-floops , as said, is normal; if it goes on for two-three minutes, it could mean you're running just under boiling. I think a 50-50 pressure-radiator mix boils around 250/260, the theory being engines run better hotter and the new metals, etc., can take the heat, but it's probably not a good idea to run it that close to the line. It's one of those things you have to kinda play by ear; if you don't sense the engine feels, smells or sounds hot you're probably in the normal range.
