40" were what was put on the factory rubber tractors but I have never seen a F-12 with cut down 40"ers. All were to 38" or even 36" as the smaller wheel gave more drawbar pulling power with a slower speed. Some body might want it just for those 40" tires to put on the cast wheel for rubber on a factory equiped rubber tractor as the 40" are verry hard to find and then convert your 40" cuttofs to 38" for an easier to find tire
