All my tractors and my pulling tractor have this type of cooling and was afore mentioned keep the water level correct and they work great, if your sending unit is not in the head or the upper part of the system they will always read cold, on my F 20 I tapped into the upper water manifold to get a true reading, even on the hottest of days it never gets over 180 degrees, a water pump on a c would be a waste of time and money!
