Its on steel even has the same one on it as where on it when new and as far as I know the lugs on the wheels are also the same ones that where on it when it was new. I can't be sure on the lugs but I don't remember my grandfather ever saying he had replaced them. I think the rings are also the same one as what was put in back in 35. Theres a picture of it in my web site
