If you want the best machine shop in Charlotte call the guys at IF Engineering. They have done everything for us from small Yanmars and Perkins' to inline and V Detroits to the big inline 6's like a D353 CAT and the Murphys. When you can align bore one of these beasts to spec and dead on enough that you and turn the crank easily by hand after you torque the caps, it don't get much better than that. These guys are THE BEST AROUND hands down.... If you take 85 South to Beaties Ford road the ramp will circle right and up to a light. Take a left at the light and then a right at the next light, right across from the Social Services Center(or whatever it is). That'll take you right into the gravel lot behind their building. You can give them a call at 704-392-5309. Ask for Danny and tell him Wayne with Harmon's Equipment recommended them.
