We have a 1947 WC Allis Chalmers that we just replaced the radiator and hoses on. We cannot get the upper (water pump side) connection to seal. We have tried using two high torque hose clamps (4x the clamping strength of a standard hose clamp) but still cannot get it to stop. We even installed a longer hose with and little bit of Permatex 'Form-a gasket' sealant, but that did not work either. The leak is not bad - it just slowly seeps out. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Chuck and Mike.
