For a 3-point hitch plow you at least need to load your tires,maybe some wheel weights and try to understand your tractors draft control and after all this your 55 should do a good job of plowing in normal soil. Hard pan is another story. Normal loam soil is what these little tractors really like.You have a 3-point plow so don't even consider a pull plow. 3-point is far superior in "my opinion" John
