Joe, Blowby is that miniscule amount of combustion chamber pressure that leaks past the piston rings. All engines have some, thus the vent tube or some other type of crankcase ventilation system. A small amount of visible vapor out the tube is normal, as long as you aren't having any abnormal smoke out the exhaust and aren't having to add oil more than normal between oil changes.
