extension agent in Eastern Oregon told me 1" of rain will impact the nutritive value of grass hay. He also recommended cutting before it pollinated so the stems still had some value as feed. So, I would say put it all in the dryer on a low setting, run for bout 30 minutes then take it back out on the field n bale it.
