You leave it wired just like it was.. It really don't care 6v or 12v.. it will still read amps. If you just did the conversion and are not getting a reading.. then I'd guess you are either not charging.. or the battery is full and there is very little current flow. Look in your manual for your oem wire diagram. basically, all lods on one side of the meter, and the bat on the other.. that way you can show net charge/discharge to/from the battery. Soundguy
