Yes we had a B.450, I could not agree more. It did "pull like a train" Dad got a load trailer load of sugar beet stuck in a field with a MF 175, which had water ballast and wheel weights. He un hitched the trailer , coupled it up to the B.450 and it "came out like an old tooth" to use his words. But because of the Ferguson draft control patent, the 3 point was a bit dire to say the least. Also, unless the batteries and /or glowplugs were in top condition, it was a shocking starter on a cold morning (Think old diesel Land Rover! ) Another peculiar thing, although it looked a big tractor, it was surprisingly light on th front end .
