Actually, standing on the tail like that at a very high angle of attack is a deliberate combat maneuver. The idea is to slow forward motion enough that your adversary has to pass you in order to keep flying, thereby putting you on his tail. The F-22 Raptor can do a similar maneuver, although I don't recall it being as good at it as this one. These airplanes can turn faster than the pilot can survive... Those are elevators on the rear, not flaps, & they're supposed to move like that. That's a characteristic of modern fly-by-wire fighters. At slow speeds, the flight control computer has a lot of control authority & moves the surfaces a lot to maintain the desired attitude. Still an impressive flight & an impressive airplane. Keith
