Been a few decades since my grandfather had goats or for that matter even been alive, but he usto use a Y tree branch and hook that around the gaots necks so they could get hung up in the fences. Just another idea for you if you have more problems. We lost a couple goats that way but it wasn't from heat but the got stuck and then something came in and ate there heads. Since then we put a hot wire on the inside of the fnece ate about there head level and that has stopped the problem here.
