I have had the same situation as plumboy - had to leave a bunch of alfalfa mix bales overnight that I gathered with an accumulator into groups of eight. Next morning I checked them and they were all moist underneath - between the field and the bottoms of the bales. I then had to flip them over by hand, let them dry, and them stacked them. I would not want to do that again; I guess in NY you just don"t leave bales out overnight. Anyone else has any suggestions?
