First thing I would do is remove the line going to the gauge and turn the engine over but don't start it. There just like the 8Ns and will turn the engine over with out the ignition switch on. If your getting oil preassure you should have oil comeing out the line when you turn the engine over. If you have oil there then its time to replace the gauge. If you don't then you neeed to look deeper in to what is wrong
