Lots of ways... new tank is best. Yes.. jbweld will stick and is gas resistant. The few times I have jb welded a tank, I cleaned the area with find sandpaper and sprayed with carb cleaner to get a smooth surface...then I screwed a small sheetmetal screw into the hole, then put a gob of jbweld over that.. completly covering the head and the sourounding areas.. never had a problem again. Did that to an oil pan on a car as well.. Soundguy
