That hay sat overnight, most of mine does. I've seen people get behind and leave hay in the field for over a week. When there isn't any rain and low humidity you can do that. The balewagon will hold 160 bales. The bales are close together because of the way the balers are set up. I windrow everything in 16' windrows then drive up one windrow down the other when baling. With the baler being offset(Deere 348 balers) and the 1/4 turn bale chute it leaves the bales in rows a couple feet apart.
