I suspect the Massey has been played with a bit, 63 horsepower is a lot. You are correct about the M having 36 horse, except that is what they had when new, most Ms have been rebuilt using the 4 inch pistons, which will get you up to 46 horse, and if you use the high compression pistons with the high compression head, you will now be up to about 55 or more. All of this was done to the Ms when they were still working tractors. Actually the 44 Massey and the Farmall M were pretty much direct competitors, and rated for the same amount of work.
