Changing the transmission fluid is a bigger step than it sounds. Check with the guys on the 8N site and be certain that you have the right quantity of the right fluid before proceeding. Rumour has it the wrong fluid (too modern) can wreck brass parts in the hydraulic pump and then the three point hitch stops working. Also, get the over-riding clutch (unless you don't have enough anxiety in your life already).
