Your just flirting with disaster trying to pull that load down the road. Ford has a towing capacity recommendation of 16,000 pound for their dually 1 ton four door diesel pickup with a factor installed trailer brake package and huge brakes and transmission. That f-250 is a liability on the road doing that. I know because I have a 88 f-350 with 5 speed, 4.10 gears, and a 460 and it would have no part of that trailer safely. If you ever get a chance to take apart a transfer case in a new 4wd pickup you will wonder how they pull themselves down the road without breaking (cheap) let alone with a trailer behind them!
