I think B&D means std bearings on a 10 under crank. 435,is that the one with a 53 series Detroit? If so run the engine with the valve cover removed to check for fuel leaks at the injector lines. watch for fuel washing oil off the top of the line nuts. A cracked flare on these lines is not that uncommon,especially if someone tightned them a bit too much,this will pump fuel in the engine oil. Does the engine gain oil,or the oil smell like fuel? Fuel washing may also be part of the reason for the engine being very clean inside.
