I have a 89 Toyota 4wd, two years ago I had the front brakes done and they charged me an extra $210.00+15% to take the hubs off, they estimated it was a 3 hour job to re & re the hubs and 6 to 7 for the whole job.
They did the brakes and installed the exhaust manifold pipe; I was out of there in just less than 4 hours.
When I got home, the wife had a fit $900.!??, she called the manager and she got $105.00 rebate.
Well guess what?
I now have to wait the whole estimated time. I've seen my truck sitting on the hoist or in the service bay with nobody near it for an hour or more at times. They tried to justify the wait by saying they were waiting for parts.
