Top Flite garden tractor/mowers?

Anyone know who made Top Flite garden tractor/mowers? I have one I'm trying to find brakes for. Single brake, engages on drive sprocket. It has an 8hp vertical briggs, looks to be early to mid 70's vintage. It sure would make it a lot easier finding parts if the manufacturer or distributor was known! I posted this to the garden tractor forum as well, but heck, you guys on here know everything!
