SKF, If there's one thing I've learned by reading these forums for the past few years it's that "Restored" means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It means anything from pressure washing a greasy tractor and spraying it with a dozen cans of spray paint or it might mean that the owner meticulously took it all apart and made every effort to make the tractor and all it's internal componants NEW. That said, if it were me I would go for the 2000 before the 641. I have two of those 3 cyl tractors and think they are the best machines Ford ever built. Tha price isn't too bad if the tractor isn't too high of hours, has power steering, good to excellent tires, the 8 speed tranny with Live PTO and maybe is a diesel. If it doesn't have those features I would still take the 2000 over the 641 but I'd try very hard to get him to come down $1000 or so. For a first (or last)tractor it would be an excellent choice.
