HELPJohn deere B wont shift

I was chisle plowing in third gear when all of a sudden she quit pulling, no knocking sound or nothing just quit like I pulled the clutch out! It will go it 3,5,6 gears but tractor wont go. It will not go to the other side of the gear box either. The tractor had to be puled off the field, if you left it in 3,5,6 the tractor would still roll as if it were in nuteral! How would a guy fix this without going to $John Deere$?
