The older head setup from the trucks work well. The heads are casted differently,,, the ports are huge from the factory! You cant port a tractor head as much as the truck head is stock! Also, its a high compression head,, not that the 6 isnt high enough,, but much more compression is added with it. Its like the LP head for the letter series tractors. I wonder if the truck flywheels could be used in the tractors,, dont know,, but those could run 3500rpm,,, if you could use it,,, A governor from a C-200 IH gas engine is perfect VS the combine governors,, lots of potential there,,
