That helped a lot. $700 dollar a month tractor payment for five years to replace his 4020. Or get a rebuilt motor for $2500 that will probably last 30 years. That 6603 will lose more value in the first year he owns it than the 4020 ever will for the rest of its existance. And like TX Jim said the electronics and powershift transmissions will probably not be doing too good in 40 years and the 4020 will still be going strong and still be bringing $6000-$10000 dollars at auction. Kurt, buy a good rebuilt 4020 motor and put it in. The swaps are miserable jobs that lead to a lot of cobbling. Find a nice long block and drop it in and you will be off and running for a long, long time. That 4020 is a great tractor that will give you a lifetime of enjoyable use. Later.
