I know the poisonous ones are one thing, but did it actually survive the baling process ? Surprised if it did, it looks like a corn snake, which are harmless and one of the most docile snakes there is, we have them all over here, they follow the mice, and do a number on their population, I welcome them here.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of people hate snakes for one reason or the other, some due to their venom and because they are very dangerous, which makes good sense, but I can't see killing something like a corn snake ( looks like one in the photo ) just because its a snake and all snakes need to die beacause they're snakes, if that makes any sense.

Reminds me of the people who torment the snapping turtles when on land because they are bad tempered and react harshly to being poked at. Most times they are headed to lay eggs or moving to another pond and get interrupted.

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to stir the pot here or anything to start trouble, each to his own, but I kinda stick up for the critters when I can around here, been an avid hunter and outdoorsman for years.
