You are showing your salesman's colors, I'm afraid. Here in eastern NY, there have been hundreds of IH utilities with Neuss diesels sold. They are not known for good cold starts by even the most loyal owner's estimations. On units with any hours at all, block heater use is manditory at about the freezing point. These engines are also noted for low oil pressure at high hours caused by worn balancer shaft bushings in the 4cyl versions. This adds substantially to otherwise above average overhaul costs. Suppose this is part of why this engine line is out of production? In favor of Perkins?????
