super dexta starter

looking for replacement starter for my super d.
does anyone know if there is another starter that will fit and what is required to install it any-mods?have seen one that they say you mount in upside down but no discription.also another qustion does any one know if the combustion caps are one piece or two? mine are in two pieces flat steel piece and small bowl shaped piece-just dont look right
