While I'm sure you'll get many suggestions based on brand loyalty, ANY of the small-to-medium diesel utilities will do the job: Ford, Massey-Ferguson, Kubota, John Deere, CaseIH. My main advice is this: 1. Get one from a dealer near you with a good reputation. 2. Figure out how big a machine you need. Too small is a pain, too big is a waste of money. I have a 20 HP diesel and do a little commercial rotary mowing, run a backhoe, rock rake, post hole digger, irrigation pump and log splitter with it, and am perfectly happy. I did plow snow with it for a couple of years, but there were two problems with it: Too light to push much snow, and COLD! Bought a plow for my 4WD truck, much happier.
