If the brakes are on all the time not just when you press the brake. The 12v wire to charge a battery on a camper is tied to your brakes so it is suppling a constant 12v to lock up the brakes.

Sometimes the wires short out in the plug (get pulled out and short). Pull back the cover and take a look.
