I know the gassers are wastefull.. but 2.5x as wastefull?!? I wish I knew someone with a 5000 gasser to let me borrow it to mow with one weekend to see how different it is than my diesel... If it is true that 2.75 hrs would burn 13g of gas.. wow... parade duty only I guess! Cub cadet made a cut in the 28 hp range just a few years ago.. cat 1.. pto..rops etc.. real tractor.. not a lawnmower or hybred. We have a cub dealer in our town, and i remember driving up and seeing a tractor with spark plugs! I almost bought it as a direct replacement for my 8n.. etc.. but found a NH tractor instead.
