I"m not sure. I do have a 950 Deere, and it"s a Yanmar wearing green. Got from a friend going through a divorce and liqudated everything. I guess the engine"s ok, 22 or 25 HP. The rest of that little guy doesn"t really impress me much, and sure is hard to get parts for, and aren"t cheap. It"s an "80 water cooled diesel. I guess its ok, don"t use it much though. Personally, if I were him, I"d pickup an N, or a Cub, or a B/C, or a VAC, or a wide variety of old reliables that can still get parts pretty readily and throw a finish mower on it. Much cheaper, and 50 years after we"re dead and gone, they still won"t be. Better stock up on the plugs though, they"re getting harder to find, at least for the B and C. Just my 2 cents. Mark
