They are excellent tractors I would not be afraid of one.
However there is a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel in my shop needing $2100 worth of repair parts.
The parts are rather pricey.
If he is buying from a dealer find out if it has been thru the Vietnam reconditioning process which usually consists of a get em running and a slick paint job.
Not a total rebuild as they would have you believe.
