Turning the gas off every time you shut off the tractor gets to be a real nuisance. I found a solution. There is a company in Marshall MI that sells an electric solenoid that you splice into the gasline between the sediment bowl and the carb, then wire to the switch. It opens when the key is on and closes when the key is off. I bought one the other day and installed it. I wish I had known about this 20 years ago. You can call them at 269 781 9196 ask for ASF valve #121. It will only work with a 12 volt system.
