I have seen reference to a piston type pump and also a vane type pump. I'm not sure what I have or how to tell the difference.
I have the engine off the tractor right now and thought I might rebuild the hydraulic pump since it is off the engine. The hydraulic control
lever was broken when I bought the tractor last fall and when I drained the fluids for the engine rebuild the hydraulic fluid was a cream color.
It looks like water got in there somehow. any and all help is appreciated.
