FWIW (1): looked thru Case section in 50 Motor Trk & Tractor manual...S and SO same engine, nothing for SO in spec pgs (just S), and saw nothing separate for SO in repair section, just S for all except SC on "power lift, mechanical type"section. FWIW(2): just happened to have Wendels book out of the library, and recall several entries that orchard models same except for bodywork, but, (naturally!) not mentioned in yours. Closest is Model R "essentially the std tread version of the Model RC row crop...also built this model in RO Orchard and RI Industrial models...", implying, at least,no substantial differences in any. Good luck.
