That picture was taken I believe around a year ago. It was taken just north of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The railroad pulling them is the Iowa Northern Rail Company, a short line that runs from Cedar Rapids to Manly Iowa. It was the 1st of 3 unit trains of John Deere tractors heading for export to China. I believe this train had 270+/- tractors on it. They were supposed to have more but the factory had not produced them yet. If I remember right, these were headed east to a port to be loaded. We work with the Iowa Northern at the elevator that I work at and thought that I still had the email that the President of the IANR had sent out with that picture and all the details but can"t seem to find it. That is the same picture that they had on their calendars that they handed out to everyone this year and have it hanging in my office. Wil
