It has all the signs of a defective EGR valve, when starting the engine or at idle it causes a mass vacum leak. My wife took her auto to the dealer put it on tester and found nothing drove the car and stalled in the dealers driveway. Took it back and demanded a EGR be installed. That was 4yrs ago and still no problem. A quick test for a defect make a solid gasket put it between the valve and manifold. Do a search on google for EGR valve and see the problems that it can cause.
