Bought a 6.5 HP gas pressure washer (2550 psi) from Lowes last year. Briggs & Stratton engine. I changed the oil last year after 1 hour of use, then again this year after 4 more hours of use. The old oil is very grey with shiny silver particles....glistens in the sunlight. I have never seen oil so grey colored...usualy old oil is black.... Is this OK and am I just seeing the break in wear of the engine? The manual says to change oil after 5 hours of use, then every 25 hours... It's still under warranty, so I;d like to know what to do.
