Definately not getting enough fuel if you need to choke it to keep running. Could be small dirt particles in the jets. Doesn't hurt to boil them in plain water to get passages and jets clean. Also, remove the sediment bulb assembly, find a plastic tube you can force into the inlet (part screwed into the tank), and cut the tube about an inch high. Keeps the sediment on the bottom of the tank from getting into the fuel system.
