I worked for a farmer that had a new STX325 4x4 tractor. The first season the alternator went out (actually caught fire), that was fixed, not long after one of the steering cylinders blew while at road speed - pulling a 1000 bushel Kinze wagon, almost lost the whole thing. (by selecting the other steering option and disconnecting the cylinder - plugging lines we were able to continue use). The following season it blew a hydraulic line running over the articulating joint under the cab. Poor routing by the factory. Started having transmission problems next. To many electronics... the farm has since gone back to a Deere. Maybe in an another year IH will have all the problems resolved in this model.
