Somewhere between the absolute "musts" of every day on one hand and the things, places, people we enjoy on the other, we must take care of OURSELVES. To me that means finding the deep satisfaction from whatever makes every day meaningful and productive.

A little OT but also remember wisdom from a old buddy back in Okla about the farmer/rancher who insisted on having every door on every shed, outbuilding closed and secure every night. Reason: "I want to sleep well when the wind blows!"
Can't do much better than that.
