gas golf cart

ok ive searched the web for an hour straight so im resorting to asking a golf cart question on a tractor page i just bought a gas golf cart off ebay it cranks over but i can olny get it to pop if i spray some either in it well after truing a few other things i think the silonoid went it will olny crank if i jump it now what are the electronics like in these this is my first one and as soon as i figure out the brand i will let you know thanks chris
