Guys kinda want some advice, last fall one of my wifes clients told us about her father dieing and that he had an old tracotr for sale.Well it was 7 hours form my home and it took a while before I could get up to see the place ,well,,,,just think ,this ol guy lived there his whole life and his father before him ..the stuff he had ,,,everything from a old sawmill that was originally belt driven ,and retro'ed with a stationary engine ,,,to two bulldozers to antique impliments and not one ,but two tractors a IH440 and an old IH330,at the time I put the pic on this site. Well long and short ,the daughter living closest had had an auction company out and he said it was not worth having an auction ,,and for me it was just too far to haul anything back ,,,just had my car and no trailer,,, I've heard they still have most stuff ,as winter was settnig in ... I was talking with a junk dealer and he said he'd give me a finders fee to hook him up ,,,but ,,figure that would be a rape and pillage situation,,,..now that I know more ,I'd like to go up with a trailer and pick up an old sicklebar mower and some other odds ,,but transport for any large items is out. What advice should I give these folks, and should I let the junkman know about it
